For the professional who values structure, accuracy, and getting it right

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven HR professional who takes pride in operational excellence.

This role is for someone who enjoys owning day-to-day HR processes, maintaining clean systems, and ensuring compliance is handled correctly and consistently. If you thrive in structured environments, value clear expectations, and take satisfaction in accurate, behind-the-scenes work that keeps the organization running smoothly, this role will feel like a strong fit.

Why This Role Exists

As our organization grows, strong HR operations become critical. This role provides hands-on support across core HR administration, systems, and compliance. You will be a trusted partner to the HR Manager, helping ensure employee data, documentation, and processes are accurate, compliant, and reliable.

This is an operational HR role, not an employee relations-heavy or strategic advisory role. Success comes from consistency, follow-through, and attention to detail.

What You Will Be Responsible For

HR Operations & Administration

  • Own employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and documentation

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems

  • Prepare and process employment documents such as offer letters, acknowledgments, and policy updates

  • Support audits and compliance requests as needed

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Serve as a power user for the HRIS (Rippling experience preferred), ensuring accurate data and efficient workflows

  • Partner with HR leadership to troubleshoot system issues and improve processes

  • Assist with system implementations, migrations, and integrations

  • Generate and maintain HR reports, trackers, and dashboards

Compliance & Policy Support

  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations

  • Assist with policy administration, acknowledgments, and required employee communications

  • Maintain documentation related to leave programs, wage compliance, and required postings

Recruiting & Talent Support

  • Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and candidate communications

  • Support job postings, background checks, and onboarding logistics

  • Assist with offer preparation and pre-employment requirements

Employee Support

  • Respond to employee questions related to HR processes, benefits administration, and policies

  • Escalate complex employee relations matters appropriately

  • Support internal HR communications and training coordination

Who Thrives in This Role

You:

  • Value structure, clear processes, and defined responsibilities

  • Take pride in accuracy, documentation, and follow-through

  • Prefer operational ownership over constant change

  • Are dependable, discreet, and trusted with confidential information

  • Enjoy supporting systems that allow others to do their jobs effectively

You do not need to be flashy or highly extroverted to succeed here. Quiet competence matters.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or similar role

  • Strong HR systems experience (Rippling preferred)

  • High level of technical proficiency with Excel, reporting, and data management

  • Working knowledge of employment compliance and HR best practices

  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-state or regulated environment

  • Experience supporting audits, HRIS implementations, or process improvements

  • PHR or similar certification

  • Construction, operations, or field-based workforce experience

Role Details
