Senior Java Developer

Keystone Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer for a consultancy engagement within a prestigious financial institution. Mission Overview

You will be a key member of the development support team, contributing to critical application systems that underpin the clients core operations. This partially remote role involves close collaboration with the technical team and offers the flexibility to discuss working arrangements with the project manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust application components.
• Contribute to the design of application components, collaborating closely with the technical lead and senior developers.
• Provide technical coaching and advisory support to colleagues when required.
• Adhere to cross-project and project-specific development guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

• Java Development: Advanced proficiency with Java 8, J2SE/J2EE, Hibernate, JPA, and Spring (including Spring Batch and Spring Security).
• RESTful API Design: Expertise in designing RESTful endpoints (HTTP methods, URLs, versioning, JSON, metadata, documentation).
• Development Tools: Proficient with IntelliJ, SVN/GIT, Maven, Bamboo, and Sonar.
• Testing and CI/CD: Experience with JUnit, test-driven development, and continuous integration frameworks.
• Database Management: Knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL.
• Security: Familiarity with OWASP security standards.
