Part-Time Nursing Clinical Teacher - Moab

Overview
USU is currently hiring a non-benefited teacher to provide clinical instruction to USU nursing students in Moab beginning August 27, 2025. Review of applicants will begin March of 2025 and will continue until the position is filled.
ACA Variable Position, US Work Authorization is Required
Responsibilities
- Plans, prepares, and follows an approved course of student with measurable objectives for each clinical course taught.
- Instructs, manages, and supervises individuals and groups in clinical and/or simulation lab settings.
- Evaluates learning.
- Maintains and submits student evaluations and records.
- Counsel students as needed.
- Assist the nursing program in maintaining an effective program.
- Maintain safe clinical conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the State of Utah (or eligible to obtain Utah licensure).

Advertised Salary
$40.00 per HourADA
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
