A Day in the Life

We are seeking a U.S. Sr Commercial, Strategic Planning Specialist to support the U.S. Surgical commercial team. This role will play a critical part in driving cross-functional initiatives, enabling operating rhythms, and ensuring disciplined execution of key priorities.
This role serves as a central connector across the U.S. Surgical commercial organization—driving communication strategy, commercial alignment, operating rhythms and field enablement.
Commercial Communications & Alignment
Lead internal communication strategy and content development for the U.S. commercial organization
Drive alignment and coordination across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Capabilities, PACE, Commercial Operations and other key stakeholders
Support governance and consistency of communications across the commercial organization
Partner with Marketing to translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable messaging for the field
Drive day-to-day email, newsletters and internal social messaging, as well as other recurring communication cadences
Commercial Planning & Operating Rhythms
Partner with Chief of Staff, Marketing and Sales to support annual and quarterly commercia planning processes
Coordinate commercialization priorities and field focus areas across the organization
Maintain governance processes, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to monitor execution against key priorities
Track key actions, risks, dependencies, and organizational priorities to ensure follow-through and accountability
Commercial Enablement & Training
Lead planning and execution of major commercial events including National Training Meetings (NTM), People Leader Summits
Coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure readiness and consistency of messaging for field-facing initiatives
Help translate strategic priorities into actionable field engagement and enablement plans
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience commercial project management or communications (or an advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience)
Experience supporting commercial organizations or field sales teams
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced transformation environment with evolving priorities, organizational change, and high leadership visibility
Nice to Have
Experience leading executive communications or organizational communications
Experience managing large-scale meetings, training, or commercial events
Strong facilitation and organizational alignment skills
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple stakeholders
Healthcare or medical device experience preferred but not required
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
