Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Team Lead - Bombers Estimating and Pricing to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Hazelwood, Missouri.
As the Senior Team Lead for the Bombers Estimating Organization, you will get opportunities to support any of our numerous platforms within our portfolio including: B-1, B-2, B-52, and Air-Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM).
For more than 60 years, Boeing-built and supported systems have sustained the safety, security and effectiveness the nuclear triad – defending the homeland and ensuring peace through strength. For this position you will be working with these programs: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs), Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversees the development of high value estimates from highly complex or unique technical requirements through the design, build and support stages of the program
- Oversees high complexity/value business proposals, evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal, substantiates estimates and pricing and assembles price proposals
- Develops unique/highly complex pricing models
- Devises long term data analytics strategy while performing complex analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
- Assigns daily work to the Bombers Estimating and Pricing teammates
- Provides coaching in development of Priorities or Development Goals
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Knowledge in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), FAR, DFARS & Cost Accounting Standard (CAS) and other government compliance areas
- 5+ years of experience with developing or evaluating cost/price proposals and business cases
- 5+ years of experience working with competing priorities
- 1+ years of experience creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- 1+ years of experience as proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., Estimating system manual, FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR, Procurement integrity, Export Compliance) relating to the development of cost proposals
- 3+ years of leadership experience
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
