About this role:
The Manager/Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance does report to the International Center of Excellence (iCEO) and Neuromuscular Finance Lead. He/she is a member of the Corporate Strategic Finance group and is viewed as a reliable source of financial data and play a critical role in managing key financial processes.
This role will assist supporting all planning processes to the iCEO group including Monthly Outlooks, Forecasts and Annual Operating Plans ensuring balanced portfolio investment while outlining risks and opportunities.
In addition, this role will assist Neuromuscular PDC Leadership on the development of Life Cycle Management opportunities and quantify and articulate value creation for our Neuromuscular portfolio assets. This role will play a key role in supporting formulating long-term strategic plans and scenario planning for the Neuromuscular portfolio.
What you will do:
- Provide ongoing financial support, reporting, and strategic financial analysis to inform important business decisions.
- Execute the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for iCEO. The individual will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to create robust financial plans. Work with leadership teams to suggest ways to prioritize spend within target.
- Provide strong business partnership to iCEO LT members and their direct reports. Work with functional teams to meet financial commitments.
- Communicate key drivers of past and future performance, including summarization of complex analysis in a manner that is appropriate based on the receiving audience.
- Provide variance analysis commentary for monthly P&L review meetings.
- Support business development activities including assisting with financial modeling and creating presentations for executive leadership.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- MBA a plus, CPA a plus, minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft product suite (Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- 5+ years of experience in finance, strategy consulting or investment banking
- Customer service mindset with ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to assist in creation of materials for executive leadership.
- Ability to build, update and maintain complex financial models.
- High sense of urgency with ability to meet tight deadlines and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred skills:
- Life sciences industry experience a plus.
- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion
