About the team:

The Service Monetization teams are responsible for building and maintaining mission-critical systems that power our global payments and recurring subscription services handling tens of millions of transactions flowing through our platform every month. Our day to day work includes payment provider integrations (Stripe, iTunes App Store, Google Play, Roku, etc), fraud detection, and maintaining PCI compliance, and also includes marketing initiatives (promotional coupons and gift access), and assisting growth opportunities (analytics and reporting).

About the Role:

We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager with a passion for leading cross-functional teams, organizing information and solving problems. This position will report into the Program Management organization, and will work closely with various teams across the business to support Service Monetization initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong software program management background, specifically in the payments and subscriptions realm and has demonstrated the ability to deliver against company strategic goals. We are looking for someone with experience driving delivery teams responsible for first and third party payments services and launching subscriptions services internationally.

A day in the life of our Technical Program Management Team:

  • Promote and evolve the company’s processes to enable closer synchronization between Program Management, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Development Operations, and Product Design
  • Lead planning and execution of high impact programs and teams
  • Build, lead, and supervise progress on release plans across multiple engineering initiatives
  • Proactively identify and mitigate program risks, remove blockers, advance progress, and seek leadership support early and soon
  • Anticipate and mitigate team and program risks
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to supervise dependencies, plan releases, and to resolve blocking issues
  • Communication on team’s program and initiative status to management
  • Fulfill scrum master role on multiple teams

About You:

  • 6+ years experience in program management within software development delivery teams building out subscriptions and payments (first and third party) services platforms
  • Successful track record of leading large, complex programs that deliver technical solutions across multiple project teams
  • Familiarity with code designs principles, testing principles and standard methodologies
  • Ability to take an active role in leading and encouraging innovation in the payments and subscriptions space
  • Experience working with multiple external vendors in the subscriptions and payments industry
  • Ability to collaborate to define both short term and long term technical strategies for your teams
  • Understanding of software development processes and knowledge of the Agile SDLC process
  • Ability to navigate contending product and technical priorities while identifying options and trade-offs as needed
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with multiple team members to clearly define outcomes, create plans, qualify success, mitigate risks, and communicate
  • An ability adapt quickly to changes in business requirements and work in an agile environment
  • Experience designing and implementing cross-functional process changes that impact the wider organization
  • Succinct, clear verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Quick learner, innovative, proactive, flexible, and adaptable
