Job Description

This internship is from July through December 2023. This is a hybrid position and will require the hired intern to come into the Mount Prospect office.

Job duties include:

• Assist with packaging designs, packaging prototyping and packaging transportation testing.
• Manage the circulation of packaging documentation for various functional approvals
• Acquire and organize product samples and mockups
• Analyze data to validate projects, including for cost savings packaging projects
• Assist with daily activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student or recent graduate of an accredited Packaging Engineer or Packaging Design program or similar program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required
• Strong MS Office skills
• Basic knowledge of packaging materials such as paperboard, corrugated fiberboard and plastics
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, 2D or 3D CAD, CAPE or TOPS experience
• Teamwork oriented
• Ability to manage project timelines successfully
• Must have strong organizational skills and be self-driven and proactive
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background check
