(Senior) MEP Cost Manager - Real Estate Projects

As a result our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost Manager with MEP experience to join our busy Cost Management team in our Dublin office, supporting our clients deliver projects and programmes across Ireland.</p><ul><li>Preparing Mechanical/Electrical cost estimates for all asset classes, and at all levels of design, related to real estate projects.</li><li>Identifying opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager</li><li>Process improvement – Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes referring ides to the appropriate line manager</li><li>Preparing Construction Cost Estimate reports at all stages of design</li><li>Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan</li><li>Ensuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively</li><li>Participating in Value engineering, LEED analysis and Life Cycle costing</li><li>Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages</li><li>Leading cost estimate production, ensuring that the team delivers on their accountabilities</li><li>Financial management – Utilizing the tools provided keep track of the ongoing margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission</li><li>Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively</li><li>Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client</li><li>Preparation / Quantification of Cost Plan Reports including measurement of detailed quantities and unit pricing</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>More than 5 years of MEP Estimating experience</li><li>Experience in real estate MEP cost management including public and private sector projects.</li><li>A recognized university degree in Construction or a related field</li><li>Membership in a relevant professional organizations (i.e. RICS/SCSI).</li><li>Certification or designation from a professional organization is an asset (i.e. MRICS, PQS, CCP)</li><li>Right to work in Ireland </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What we offer you: </strong></p><ul><li>Full time</li><li>Hybrid working </li><li>Competitive remuneration and attractive range of benefits</li><li>Pension</li><li>25 days Annual leave (23 days + 2 company days)</li><li>Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projects</li><li>Career development opportunities both in Ireland and globally</li><li>Opportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleagues</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><p>Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
