What You Will Contribute
This role offers the candidate an opportunity to work in a multifaceted finance position supporting the Treasurer and the Head of Treasury Operations. Key responsibilities include executing daily cash management activities, establishing and managing correspondent bank accounts, and overseeing personnel. This role will also involve managing the team responsible for the day-to-day activities required to meet the Bank’s financial obligations, including executing daily funds transfers, updating system activity, working with internal and external customers to resolve variances and inquiries, and streamlining and automating processes. Additionally, the ideal candidate will assist with researching and implementing a Treasury Management System in the future.
The candidate will lead first-line-of-defense activities for the Treasury Department, ensuring that procedures are updated and maintained to support Treasury’s critical operations. Close coordination with the broader Treasury department on cash management and investment activities is essential. The ideal candidate will also work cross-functionally with Accounting, Compliance, Legal, and other departments to execute Treasury’s strategies within a strong governance framework.
What You Need to Succeed
Apply sound knowledge of Treasury functions within a strong risk and governance framework.
Analyze financial data and investigate variances using disciplined logic and research.
Execute multiple priorities effectively with minimal supervision and appropriate escalation.
Ensure accuracy and control integrity in reporting and analysis, while identifying risks and control enhancements.
Identify ways to use technology to automate processes and enhance key controls
Act with accountability, collaborate across functions, and uphold governance standards in support of organizational objectives.

What You Have
Minimum Education, Skills and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
The qualified candidate will have 5-10 years of cash management experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. SQL knowledge is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to utilize G/L and other databases to generate analyses and reporting.
Experience in gathering data and preparing meaningful reports for external and internal stakeholders at the highest levels.
Understanding of bank balance sheets and risk management principles will be critical to success.
Preferred Education, Skills and Experience
An MBA.
CFA or CTP credentials are encouraged.
