Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

Viessmann Climate Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Accounting (m/f/d) to lead the accounting team and manage the statutory accounts for several legal entities in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of German HGB, with a strong preference for experience in US GAAP. As part of your role, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, consolidation and M&A accounting, while ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements, incl. SOX compliance.

Your impact

• You are responsible for the proper consolidation of financial data from various business units and subsidiaries in the consolidated financial statements and the preparation of consolidated financial reports in accordance with international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS or US GAAP)
• You monitor the financial performance of the subsidiaries and identify deviations or discrepancies
• You ensure that all consolidated financial reports and financial statements comply with legal requirements and internal guidelines and coordinate audits and reviews in collaboration with the internal and external audit teams
• You continuously identify opportunities to improve consolidation processes and efficiency

Who you are

You enjoy working with data and are a great team player and also you bring;

• Degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in consolidating financial data in an international company
• In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS or US GAAP)
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting and/or Hyperion Oracle (HFM)
• Fluency in German and English
