Job Overview:
Santa Claus is the center of the Santaland experience and Macy’s primary holiday ambassador to the public during the Holiday Season. Santa Claus is expected to cheerfully greet and welcome all Santaland guests offering a portion of his time to diligently listen to their holiday thoughts and wishes. Santa Claus may be expected to appear on camera performing these duties through scripted interactions with Santaland Elves. 

Essential Functions:

• Conduct visits with Santaland guests
• Ensure the magic of Santa is present in each of his visits
• Cheerfully meet, greet and take photos with guests of all ages
• Perform other duties as needed
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Santa experience preferred
• On Camera Acting experience preferred
• Ability and desire to work with children required
• Customer service experience required
• Effective communicator
• Leadership

• Cheerful and enthusiastic disposition
• Ability to engage and entertain children
• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours which may include day, evening, weekends and/or holidays or sales events depending on business needs
