Responsibilities:

• Identify and participate in the implementation of Inventory management tools, technology and sourcing processes to improve results and increase efficiencies.
• Identify, measure, and analyze KPIs to ensure Inventory efficiency and cost analysis.  
• Lead and facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure manufacturing and transportation of material arrive in time to meet key deadlines. 
• Assess internal processes of receiving and stock management to find possible improvements.
• Monitor activities performed by Inventory Specialist Team are in line with organizational procedures and goals.
• Planning, assigning and reporting of workload of assigned employees
• Develop departmental strategies based on organizational goals. 
• Create employee developmental plans to promote employee growth and increased competency. 
• Train and coach team members to ensure strong performance, ensuring Inventory goals are achieved and Inventory Specialist Team meets identified KPI’s.
• Identify organizational development training opportunities to increase program knowledge of Inventory activities and provide technical assistance where needed.
• Monitor and resolve Inventory processes and/or sourcing concerns.
• Develop and maintain Departmental operating procedures, work instructions and guidelines.
• Document lessons learned and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. from a start height of 39 inches to an end height of chest level from the floor up to 7 times per hour.
• Must be able to vertically transfer inventory weighing up to 26 lbs. from a start height from the floor to an end height of 85 inches from the floor up to 4 times per hour.
• Must be able to transfer spare parts onto pallet jacks utilizing a mechanical device with a force up to 10 - 27 lbs. a distance of 25 - 150 feet up to 1 time per hour.
• Must be able to ascend/descend a flight of 17 stairs to load and unload inventory with a height of 6 inches from the floor up to 1 time per hour.
   

Qualification or Skills:

• Bachelors in Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 5+ years in Inventory or related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Strong background in and understanding of ERP systems including SAP
• Must have computer skills and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Must  be  experienced  in  a  fast-paced,  professional,  customer  service  driven  team environment.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of warehouse processes and procedures preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work procedures, technical instructions and technical references is a plus.
