Position Summary:

In 2021, Trupanion launched two new pet insurance brands, PHI Direct and Furkin, to provide pet owners with more options when seeking health protection for their furry companions. PHI Direct and Furkin are excited to add to their team and are seeking a dedicated Acquisition Marketing Specialist to embark on the journey.

As the Acquisition Marketing Specialist for PHI Direct and Furkin, you will help us on our mission to grow our pack of members across Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, with a focus on paid social media, lead nurturing, promotional email marketing, online enrollment pathways, and organic SEO. Experience utilizing HubSpot, or a similar CRM, for data management, list building, and contact segmentation is a must. This role will require strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a tenacity to learn new skills in an intrapreneurial environment.

We know that talented pet-loving professionals are everywhere. This is a position open to candidates anywhere in the US. If you live in the Seattle area, this will be a hybrid remote/in-office position that requires you to work from our casual, pet-friendly office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • You will play an important role in optimizing our marketing channels to engage and convert prospects through the conversion funnel
  • Provide reporting on campaign & program performance as well as insights and recommendations
  • Work cross-functionally with the Marketing Team, Care Team, and IT to launch, maintain, and evolve lead and conversion digital and email campaigns
  • Work with external agencies or contractors on placement and monitoring of paid media campaigns, organic SEO blog content, email marketing, and more
  • Identify data needs and requirements for evolving personalization and dynamic content across a rapidly growing brand family
  • Leverage A/B testing, segmentation, and behavioral targeting to maximize engagement and next best actions
  • Build segmentation & targeting logic, set up automations and workflows, identify dynamic content requirements, and drive continuous improvements within the HubSpot platform
  • Identify opportunities to attract more leads and improve conversion across digital marketing channels - web, email marketing, newsletter, social
  • Generate business analytics reporting for marketing and sales teams
  • Provide general administrative and project support as needed

Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant marketing experience

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Proficiency with email marketing tools, copywriting, and campaign development (MailChimp, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Preferred email coding knowledge (HTML, CSS)
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools, and experience with Google Analytics (UA) and GA4.
  • Experience writing for SEO preferred
  • Understanding of survey management tools (i.e. Survey Monkey)
  • Solid understanding of project management software such as Trello, Wrike, or JIRA
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to optimize day-to-day funnel performance

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $75,000 on a full-time schedule
  • Along with the base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
  • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
