RN Nurse Manager - Preop / Postop

RN Nurse Manager of our Preop / Postop units within Perioperative Services at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts. 

 

The Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring superior patient/customer satisfaction via the highest quality care and service. Directs and supervises functions and activities in assigned areas.
Provides leadership in the professional practice setting. Advocates for the protection and rights of individuals, families, communities, populations, healthcare providers, nursing and other professions, especially related to health and safety. Implements and interprets policies, procedures, standards, and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. Provides duties in any nursing capacity as needed. Adheres to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Required Qualifications: 

• Coursework/Training: Management of Aggressive Behavior within 90 days of hire.    
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.  
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
• Additional experience may be required in some areas based on specialty programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• 2 years of Clinical experience in area of specialty

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
