About the Job:

The Registered Dietitian (RD) (Outpatient) provides clinical expertise for the education, management and behavioral counseling for persons. The incumbent will educate patients of all ages and their families/caregivers and will promote and disseminate quality diabetes and nutrition information to professionals as well as patients.

What You’ll Do:

• Provides person-centered Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals and groups of all ages (adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics). 

• Member of interdisciplinary team supporting endocrinology and primary care practices. 

• The population served includes people with diabetes, prediabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, digestive health, lipid management, food allergies, weight management, failure to thrive, chronic kidney disease, and oncology.

Who You Are:

• BS in Nutrition or Dietetics, with training in all age groups required.

• Licensure as a Registered and Licensed Dietitian required.

• Member of the American Dietetic Association required.

• A minimum of one year of experience in nutritional counseling in an outpatient setting and conducting group classes required.

• CDCES, NDPP Health Coach, experience with FOD Map.

• Epic experience, preferred!
