Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a CPR Instructor/Specialist - Boca Raton, FL
Organize and schedule certification courses on a weekly basis and upon request, including at the partner campuses.
Comply with all instruction policies and procedures set forth by the American Red Cross.
Implement marketing strategy to grow the course programs to generate revenue, increasing year over year.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written communication skills, presentation skills, and quality customer service skills.
Maintain course equipment inventory, make recommendations to improve course materials and notify supervisor when purchases are required.

Minimum Qualifications:
A High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.Additional Requirements:
American Red Cross Instructor Certification.
CPR for Professional Rescuer and First Aid.
Ability to bridge into teaching other American Red Cross certification courses as needed.

Temporary positions are usually not eligible for benefits and retirement; however, they may be eligible for health insurance coverage depending on the average hours worked per week. They provide full-time or part-time employment in an exempt or non-exempt employment situation based on job duties and salary in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Temporary positions do not have layoff rights and may be terminated without prior notice. Final candidate will be required to have official, sealed transcripts and original NACES evaluation, if applicable, sent from their educational institution to Human Resources prior to the start of employment.
