About the role
Summary of Position:
Using their clinical background, the Clinical Quality Nurse completes a telephonic client specific care review with agency nurses prior to the nurse providing in home client care. Clinical Quality Nurse ensures that agency nurse is appropriate to provide care to client assigned. Clinical Quality Nurse ensures agency nurse has an appropriate understanding of client care plan as ordered by the physician.
Pay Range: $25-$30/hr
Must live within 60 miles of Sherman

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
These include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Conducts an in-depth review of nurse’s qualifications and current standing with the agency
- Reviews patient’s medical history, care plan and medications with nurse
- Documents clinical care review in agency EMR
- Provide charting guidance for field staff
- Assist with problem solving with schedules
- Assist with identifying when authorization has been scheduled over
- Transfer process for hospitalizations
- Send charts back for correction
- COVID screenings
- None.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Active nursing license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and web-based applications
- Must be self-directed, able to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong telephonic skills
- Ability to collaborate internally with all department
