Job Summary:
The Equipment Rental and Delivery Associate is responsible for assisting our customers throughout their equipment rental process. This will include helping customers choose the correct tool for their project, as well as loading, unloading, cleaning, inspecting, and repairing equipment as it moves in and out of our yard. The job also includes delivering heavy equipment to customers who need this service. Training on the use, operation, maintenance and delivery of rental equipment will be provided. The ideal candidate has good customer service skills and enjoys working with their hands and staying busy. You are comfortable working with a team, and can also stay motivated working on your own. Basic tool knowledge is necessary, and some mechanical aptitude would be preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Help load and unload equipment.
- Clean and inspect equipment.
- Operate excavators, tractors, skid steers, and various power equipment safely (we provide training).
- Deliver/pick-up heavy equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment (we provide training).
- Help maintain organization in the shop and rental yard.
- Answer phones and assist customers in choosing and reserving equipment.
- Use our software to reserve, check out, and check in equipment and accept payment.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Always have a customer-first mentality
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent and a valid drivers license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to our accident prevention program.
- Able to walk, reach, twist, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
- Initiative to work with little supervision.
- Able to lift 50 lbs frequently
- Basic computer skills including typing and data entry. Willing to learn new software.
- High level of social maturity including respect, integrity, and honesty
- Clean driving record.
