Fit Technical Designer and Pattern Maker

Summary:

We are seeing a talented and experienced Fit Technical Designer with experience in women’s woven knits to join our team as soon as possible. A Technical Designer with patternmaking skills is highly desired. Someone who has a real passion for patternmaking and construction and enjoys this line of work. As a Fit Technical Designer, your primary role will involve keeping the pattern library up to date. Specifying patterns will be a major part. So ideally someone who enjoys patterns and solving construction puzzles is highly desired. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the archival patterns and maintaining accurate pattern specs for all.
• Take notes during fit sessions and pics and upload them to archive files.
• Maintain the Tech Manual as needed with garment illustrations.
• Develop and maintain accurate and detailed technical drawings and callouts using Illustrator.
• Create and update tech packs with precise measurements, fabric details, construction instructions, and trim information for each style. 
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely delivery of tech packs to suppliers and manufacturers. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Designer with a minimum of five years experience.
• Proficiency in using design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, creating technical drawings and illustrations. 
• Familiarity with Google drive and a must with Excel spreadsheets and formulas.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and precision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Lingerie experience is a plus.
• The job will be on-site M-F. 
• Spanish is a plus, but not required
