Veterans Affairs Senior IT Client Delivery Executive

You Are:
Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a Program Manager with experience having previously worked at the Cabinet-level executive branch department of the federal government charged with providing healthcare services to eligible military veterans throughout the country. This type of federal experience, in the area of technology specifically, will enable the Program Manager to contribute in a client-facing delivery role and also successfully support client relationship development.
The role is comprised of two parts:
- Project Delivery: Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment. Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables. Oversee project delivery and project management workstreams. Manage relevant business processes to enable delivery excellence. Oversee operational program delivery (work product submission, inter-project communications, staffing, change management). Introduce automation, business transformation, process development and change principles. Engage with AFS and project leadership to provide executive updates. Communicate complex technical work to both senior stakeholders and non-experts.
- Client Relationship Development: Manage existing client relationships to understand, and act on, expectations/needs. Develop new client relationships to further understanding of stakeholder interests.
The Work:
- Provides client oriented insights and coaching into supporting sales & delivery efforts and engaging with key stakeholders
- Identifies and analyzes project stakeholders in the internal and external environments, including business, IT and contracting leadership, partners and teammates to develop and maintain a relationship plan.
- Supports risks and issues escalations with client and AFS leadership
- Listens and articulates stakeholder interests and expectations.
- Manages expectations according to agreed upon objectives.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Anticipates and manages conflict and conflict resolution.
Here Is What You Need:
- Bachelors Degree or 7 years of industry experience
- Significant experience in one or more of the following: IT management, IT operations, and/or IT leadership
- Experience with Program and/or Project Management
Bonus Points If:
- Bachelors Degree in an IT related field
- Advanced Degree
- 10+ years of of industry experience
- PMP, ITIL or other IT-related certifications appropriate for an program management professional
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders
- Excellent people management and relationship development skills

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $141,800 - $269,100
Colorado: $141,800 - $232,600
New York: $131,300 269,100
Washington State: $151,100 - $247,500
