About the Role
In this role you will manage/orchestrate the Corporate Strategic Planning Process for Corporate Functions (e.g. Marketing, Legal, HR) as well as for cross-divisional strategic topics.
What You Will Do
- Manage/orchestrate the Corporate Strategic Planning Process for Corporate Functions (e.g. Marketing, Legal, HR) as well as for cross-divisional strategic topics
- Define and set-up the corporate process/standards for functional strategies
- Consult and advise Corporate Function leaders in developing their strategies; this could include best-practice analysis with industry leaders, benchmarking of service portfolio and quality, preparation of make-or-buy decisions/outsourcing decisions, validation of the utilization of new technologies such as AI (value cases)
- Ensure high quality of strategy document, including, structure and content
- Manage other corporate processes, such as the annual strategic target setting
- Manage the annual Strategic Management Meeting (a 2-day meeting of HARMANs senior leadership) including preparation on session content
- Support the CSO with regard to management reporting
What You Need
- MBA
- 10+ years overall professional experience in functional strategy planning and development (incl. shared services, sales and marketing)
- Experience in Corporate Strategy within a global organization with tech background (e.g. GAFA)
- Strong capabilities in creating and structuring top management presentations (e.g. based pyramidal thinking) fulfilling highest quality standards
- Strong capabilities in terms of strategy development, structural thinking, process management, business case development
- Impactful communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Team player with high result orientation and determination
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common goal
What is Nice to Have
- Experience in planning and managing international conferences
- 3+ years’ experience in a Strategy Consulting Company
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 25%, domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in an office in Germany, hybrid model
