Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.  We have an opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant I in our ASC Recovery Room.

Responsibilities

Works under the direction of a licensed registered nurse to provide family-centered patient care in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care of the patients served (birth-age 21). Applies principles of professional practice model FOCUSED to the ASC.

Qualifications

Current full Covid-19 vaccination status required

 

High School Graduate or equivalent preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) required6 months Patient Care Assistant experience preferred
