We Commit.</span></p><p></p><p><span><b>Position goal:</b> </span></p><p><span><b>The Sourcing Specialist</b> is responsible to help develop and/or execute procurement strategies with 3rd party suppliers in support of Fresenius Medical Care’s One Procurement strategy to achieve best total cost of ownership, sustainable productivity and high levels of quality and service aligned with cross-functional business objectives. Coordinates with category management and/or Technical Procurement Project Management to understand patient and internal needs to conduct RFx exercises, select suppliers, support or lead negotiation of favorable contracts and for lower cost buys as agreed with category management, ensure supplier performance, risk assessment and supplier relationships.</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><b>Your responsibilities:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Supports the creation and/or execution of sourcing strategies for the assigned category with the help of Global and Regional Category Managers and Technical Procurement Project Managers,</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supports cross functional supplier selection activities and management of formal strategic sourcing and RFx processes including supplier identification and supplier due diligence activities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Performs proposal analysis, including price analyses, “Should Cost” modelling, benchmarking and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supports development of negotiation strategy, including targets for costs and key commercial/business terms.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Evaluates financial stability of suppliers and manages supplier risks as needed.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Champions use of eSourcing, Spend Visibility, and R2P tools within category; leverages and utilizes eAuctions where appropriate</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support or drive price and contract negotiations, in alignment with Category Management.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Present decision recommendation to the Sourcing Decision Board to ensure a transparent and aligned decision making.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Documents sourcing project progress (status and outcomes) to the Sourcing Project Office.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensures full documentation (RFQs documents, contracts and data &amp; price maintenance at each sourcing project closure.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrates the highest ethical standards and ensures Fresenius procedures are adopted and followed</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conducts global supplier identification efforts and execute supplier due diligence</span></p></li><li><p><span>Generates proposal / quote comparisons and compiles detailed assessment of cost breakdowns</span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span><b>Our requirements:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor’s or Master's Degree</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Min 2 years of experience in sourcing with product procurement: plastics, assembled parts, electronics, mechanics, metal etc.</b></span></p></li><li><p><span>Good understanding of sourcing methodologies.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with hands on analysis and data interpretation; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites preferred</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>English (written and spoken) - Fluent</span></p></li><li><p><span>Project management expertise with the ability to carry projects from planning through implementation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to collaborate and communicate with senior leaders and stakeholders both internally and externally.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Critical thinking and decision-making skills with ability to understand opportunities, create value and solve complex problems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent communication and presentation skills</span></p></li><li><p><span>Able to work in virtual, geographically dispersed, cross-cultural teams</span></p></li><li><p><span>Able to prioritize multiple initiatives/projects in a fast-paced environment</span></p></li><li><p><span>Able to develop relationships and build both a strong direct and indirect sphere of influence.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b>Our offer:</b></p><ul><li><p>Flexible working hours (st
