The Nutrition & Dietetics team:
- We are a diverse, enthusiastic, and supportive team of 23 dietitians.

The Role:
- Contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the Nutrition and Dietetic Service, including tasks delegated by the Manager of Nutrition and Dietetics such as the development and review of new and existing services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of activities that promote positive outcomes associated with the strategic directions and health plans of the organisation.
- This Senior Dietitian position will provide services to adult and paediatric clients with diabetes as part of the John Morris Diabetes Centre multidisciplinary team across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The clinical population includes those with:
- Type 1 diabetes
- High risk and complex Type 2 diabetes
- Other diabetes including Type 3C, MODY and CFRD
- Steroid induced and exacerbated diabetes.
- Diabetes in Pregnancy including: pre and post pregnancy counselling, Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes
You will need:
- Clinical dietetic experience working with people with type 1, complex type 2 or gestational diabetes
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Working with children registration

Details of appointment:
- Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 34.4 hours per fortnight, 9 February 2026 until 31 December 2026
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022.
