The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The RTX Enterprise Services Strategic Affordability organization is seeking an individual to join its team as a Senior Financial Analyst. This individual will provide analytical support in our Strategic Affordability Analysis organization. The Analyst’s work product will have a direct impact on RTX competitive posture in the defense marketplace and customer satisfaction. For these reasons, a background in cost accounting, auditing, estimating, and analytical techniques is required.
What You Will Do
- Gather and consolidate monthly performance metrics for analysis.
- Collaborate with DCMA to provide audit support and ensure compliance.
- Partner with RTX Estimating and Supply Chain teams to align processes and objectives.
- Create SAA reports for assignment.
- Conduct in-depth cost analyses and assess commercial item determinations for supplier proposals exceeding $2 million.
- Perform routine peer audits to ensure accuracy and consistency in analyst evaluations.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting or related field and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience in, Finance Business, or Supply Chain functions
- Minimum of a year of experience working in at least one of the following areas:
o Subcontractors proposal requirements
o Supply Chain
o Operations or Product Line estimating
o Cost Accounting or Auditing - Experience demonstrating knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) along with the understanding of proposed labor, material, other direct costs, direct and indirect rates, and profit.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer
- Prior experience or knowledge in Strategic Affordability Analysis or related discipline
- Strong communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements
