Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and subsystems for new prototype products
• Fabricate and assemble custom test tools and fixtures
• Perform component-level evaluation and metrology on industry-standard tools
• Execute testing of prototype products and subsystems on customized test fixtures and tools
• Write simple scripts to automate data collection
• Perform basic data analysis and present results

Requirements:

• Typically requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience.  ​
• Competency in basic mechanical and electrical engineering principles
• Competency in test methods and conduct, including understanding of experimental methods, data collection techniques and data analysis
• Experience using MS Excel to perform basic data analysis
• Experience with Matlab and Labview tools preferred
• Experience with multi-disciplinary systems, preferably including optical, mechanical, fluidic, electrical, chemistry and software
• Strong communication skills and works well in team environment

The estimated base hourly range for the Engineering Technician 4 role based in the United States of America is: $32.21 - $48.36. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
