Are you passionate about identity and access management (IAM) and ready to make a meaningful impact? HealthEquity is seeking an IAM Application Onboarding Lead to help mature and scale our access administration practices. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our IAM Program—driving process improvements, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring secure, compliant access across our environment. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to onboard applications, enhance procedures, and promote a security-first mindset. What you will do (Job Duties & Responsibilities)
- Lead the intake and centralization of access administration for all internal HealthEquity applications, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with application owners, technical teams, and Application Administrators to gather requirements, onboard applications to IAM, and recommend compliance controls.
- Drive role-based access assessments, implement and automate RBAC processes, and help maintain IAM policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Utilize SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and Excel for data analysis and access management; PowerShell scripting is a plus for integration and automation.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, audit/compliance, and the User Access Certification & Governance team to ensure secure, compliant access and provide audit evidence when needed.
- Act as a liaison among stakeholders to review, document, and communicate system activities, ensuring access assignments align with industry regulations, IAM principles, and a security-first mindset.
- Integrate new applications with the IAM platform for provisioning and deprovisioning, and support execution of the IAM roadmap.
- Provide IAM process guidance and requirements, create IAM solutions and roles for application onboarding, and develop process documentation for centralized access administration.
- Facilitate collaboration and lead cross-functional teams and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases for defect fixes, enhancements, and critical initiatives.
What you will need to be successful (Skills, Knowledge, & Experience)
- Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, processes, and tools such as SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, NERM, and OneTrust
- Experience onboarding applications to IAM, conducting technical assessments, and implementing role-based access controls
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, audit requirements, and User Access Certification & Governance practices
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and access management; PowerShell scripting for integration and data import tasks
- Proficient in on-prem Active Directory and Entra ID
- Strong ability to gather requirements, recommend controls, and collaborate with application owners and technical teams
- Skilled in identifying issues, risks, and procedural irregularities; able to collect data, draw conclusions, and align resolution responsibilities
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence others and navigate difficult conversations to uphold process and audit standards
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and educating stakeholders on changes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

Salary Range
$109,500.00 - $142,500.00 / yearBenefits & Perks
The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits including:
