Genesys Engineers think through implementation details of scale, security and usability.</p><p></p><p>You will be part of a team building and optimizing cloud infrastructure, mentoring software developers, ensuring scalability and availability of infrastructure and delivering high quality optimized solutions.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Responsible for delivering high impact development success</li><li>via independent contributions and mentoring</li><li>Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.</li><li>Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.</li><li>Ability to impact of problem along with possible solution for the problem</li><li>Contributing to building an entire continuous deployment pipeline for development teams, including automated provisioning of the testing and production environments.</li><li>Participate with architectural decisions that impact the software infrastructure and architectre</li><li>Troubleshooting in the production environment</li><li>Maintaining and monitoring large distributed and highly-available complex systems</li><li>Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer</li><li>Mentoring and guiding your team members </li></ul><p></p><p>Who you are</p><p></p><ul><li>You have at least 5 years of work experience as a DevOps engineer</li><li>You’re open-minded and willing to learn new cloud-based technologies</li><li>Experience with Linux environments, and Cloud technologies</li><li>Infrastructure as Code mindset</li><li>Can debug difficult problems both in dev/test and production environments related to the teams software.</li><li>Strong AWS and/or Azure background</li><li>Experience in incidence management and root cause analysis</li><li>You can gather business requirements, analyze complex problems and develop solutions that meet business needs</li><li>And in case that's not enough, you can communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences</li></ul><p></p><p>Desirable Skills:</p><p></p><p>We expect you to have experience with some of the following technologies and are willing to learn the rest:</p><p></p><ul><li>Experience with high-performance, 7/24 systems</li><li>Experience with distributed systems, microservices, AWS/Azure cloud technologies</li><li>Experience in Agile software development methodologies and principles</li><li>Apply DevOps culture and mindset to your daily work</li></ul><p></p><p>If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.</p><p></p><p>About Genesys:</p><p>Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
