The Role/Attributes
- Plans, coordinates, and supervises the implementation of Varian products with our customers, contractors, and Varian internal stakeholders independently.
- Works on projects of diverse scope and significant dependencies, often with complex and/or multisite and multiple products in scope.
- Coordinates resources and monitors and reports progress and milestones regularly to all stakeholders.
- Routinely works with high-visibility customers and projects
- Manages multiple projects concurrently
- Participates in on-site visits and/or conference calls
- Identifies and mitigates project risks.
- Coordinates resources and equipment shipment schedules
- Provides agendas, minutes, and reports indicating installation activities including tight control of timelines and installation forecast
- Provides feedback and works on process improvement, training, and documentation
- Mentors new project managers in process and products as it relates to project management
- Assists with escalated and at-risk projects.
What Is Needed to Succeed
- 5 years of project management or equivalent professional experience in a clinical environment
- Must have a general knowledge of network design, software controls systems, and server management.
- Knowledge of the use and deployment of software in a healthcare environment.
- Experience presenting complex ideas and schedules to external customers at all organizational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent conflict management skills required, able to manage escalations
- Structured working methodology
- Strong customer service acumen
- Willing to learn and grow with passion, energy, and drive that can bring creative ideas, critical thinking, and a strong appetite for project execution
- PMP preferred

The annual base pay for this position is:
Min $93,600 - Max $140,400Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many clients require Siemens Healthineers employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites. Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment in this position.
