The HeartMetrics Program Director will drive the creation of new market opportunities by analyzing the intersection of the pharmaceutical and cardiac monitoring sectors. This individual will lead the HeartMetrics cross-functional team and build the strategy for identifying, executing, and realizing the potential for ICMs in this sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both industries and demonstrate an ability to navigate uncharted territories, identifying key opportunities where none exist. 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  

  • Accountable for HeartMetrics program execution in alignment with business milestones and objectives. Lead all internal and external efforts to support current and future contracts
  • Leads cross-functional team across R&T, clinical, finance, and marketing to align business goals with market opportunities
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategy and appropriate level of governance and operating mechanisms to achieve overall program goals
  • Proactively maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including marketing, R&T, clinical, and finance teams
  • Identify, hire, and develop team members who will support and drive program growth

Must have; Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, consulting, data analytics, market development, or a related role in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries. 
  • 7+ years of people, program or project experience

Nice to Have 

  • Master’s or MBA preferred
  • Experience with AI or digital health technologies. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with a history of cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory pathways and clinical trials in pharma and medical devices. 
  • Knowledge of global market trends in healthcare and technology adoption.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$190,400.00 - $285,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
