Job Overview:
INflow Federal is seeking a Software Developer to join our Geospatial program. In this role you will design, build, and deploy custom applications within a sophisticated enterprise environment, working as part of a SAFe/Scrum delivery team supporting federal customers.Here, your work is more than a job - it's a journey in innovation. What You'll Do:
- Research, design, develop, and test enterprise-wide applications and systems
- Analyze user and business requirements to define solution scope and functionality
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code and maintain supporting technical documentation
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing application processes and architectures
- Write automated unit and integration tests; evaluate code quality using automated tooling
- Support formal testing cycles and resolve defects
- Build, package, and release software components through the enterprise DevSecOps pipeline
- Establish and improve system monitoring across development, test, and production environments while adhering to security protocols
- Deploy and maintain applications on on-prem and data center infrastructure
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, story estimation, and daily stand-ups
- Provide progress updates and flag delivery risks early
- Provide technical consultation to teammates on application and infrastructure questions

Required Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) with working knowledge of additional languages or frameworks
- Experience building and managing container images with Docker and orchestrating workloads on Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus)
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure SDLC practices
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience deploying to on-prem / data center infrastructure
- Experience building custom operators with the operator-sdk
- Experience developing Kubernetes Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) or custom APIs
- Go programming language experience
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for daily workflow management
Desired Skills:
- Experience developing containers intended to run on the RedHat Openshift Container Platform
- Experience with ElasticSearch
- Front-end development skills (HTML/CSS/Sass/Less/JavaScript)
- Experience writing infrastructure as code (Helm/Terraform)
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other business-related field (or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree)
- Experience in building custom operators with the operator-sdk
- Experience developing Kubernetes Custom Resource Definitions (CRD) or API's
- Go programming language experience

- Some travel may be required: Must have valid driver’s license and transportation. This is subject to change at the direction of the customer.
