Job Description:

Mahoney State Park hires temporary employees to assist with the cleaning and set up in our event and conference facilities. Duties include: Cleaning of event spaces including kitchen and bathrooms, moving of tables and chairs, and following set up instructions for events. Some lifting is required, and the ability to operate simple cleaning equipment such as a floor scrubber. Work schedule will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hours will vary depending on event schedule, and some overnight shifts, 10pm – 6am will be required. Candidate may perform other park duties as needed. Must be able to manage time independently and be available for a varying schedule.

 

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualificaitons: At least six months experience working in a recreational area, scenic attraction, hospitality, historical, retail or customer service setting, agricultural setting, or related coursework/training.
