SUMMARY:

This role is positioned in the Analytics and Insights team that focuses on empowering internal team members and partners across the organization. BI Engineer on Analytics team is expected to lead the implementation of BI best practices, including streamlining existing reports, designing analytical architecture, and defining the right KPIs. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, creative, and passionate about driving the impact from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • This role is positioned in the Analytics and Insights team that focuses on empowering internal team members and partners across the organization.
  • BI Engineer on Analytics team is expected to lead the implementation of BI best practices, including streamlining existing reports, designing analytical architecture, and defining the right KPIs.
  • Design, develop and manage tools to support ongoing business reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and product owners to determine business data reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Work with Data Engineering counterparts to develop data pipeline and metric definitions.
  • Assist in business report generation to internal and external customers for business decision making.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, creative, and passionate about driving the impact from the ground up in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years' progressive experience as a BI developer/Data Engineer/BI engineer
  • Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL tools such as, SSIS , Azure Data Factory
  • Demonstrated experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power-BI, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of DW design and dimensional data modeling
  • Experience in project life cycle activities on BI development and maintenance projects
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience with Agile methodology of project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
