The Project Director will take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of Infor's most complex, multi-million dollar, multi-site, and international projects—including hybrid, on-premise, cloud, and co-development engagements. You will be responsible for formulating successful strategies to increase operational performance and ensuring alignment with customer business objectives and contractual requirements (Statement of Work).
This role requires leadership in resource management, project planning, financial control, risk mitigation, and customer engagement to drive project success and maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide strategic leadership and ownership of large, complex and global projects.
· Develop, maintain, and control integrated project plans, schedules, and budgets.
· Establish alignment between Infor and customer expectations, ensuring clarity on scope and responsibilities and success of the project.
· Lead implementation planning and execution using Infor's methodology and project management tools.
· Manage all project resources, including internal teams, offshore, and third-party subcontractors.
· Track project status and communicate regularly to customers and internal stakeholders.
· Manage change control processes and update project baselines as needed.
· Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
· Lead governance and steering committees with customer executives.
· May need to manage multiple workstreams on a project acting as program manager in large complex, multi workstream projects. Projects may have several other project managers leading workstreams in which the project director will lead and have ownership of the entire project.
· Coach and mentor Project Managers and other delivery team members.
· Transition deliverables to Global Support or Managed Services effectively.
· Own and responsible for project financials, including forecasting, billing, and cost control.
· Participate in presales and deal structuring activities as required.
· Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback and lessons learned.
Required Qualifications & Experience
· Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or equivalent.
· Significant experience managing full lifecycle ERP or complex software implementation projects.
· Proven ability to operate effectively in dynamic, high-growth environments with demanding customers.
