Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- 35% Category Management:
- Category Management and Contracting: Support business needs by assisting in competitive tendering processes, including conducting reviews and evaluations of vendor proposals to align with organizational goals. Participate in contract negotiations and assist in ensuring timely execution of key goods and services agreements that meet quality, risk, and compliance standards. Provide recommendations regarding suppliers, contractors, and technologies under direct guidance from Associate Director, Wind Strategic Procurement and cross-functional input. Contribute to the refinement of procurement strategies, methodologies, tools, and processes ensuring adherence to defined goals and creating incremental value within specific project categories. Represent procurement in internal and external meetings.
- Risk Management: Assist in identifying risks and support mitigation efforts through collaboration with HSES, legal, credit, insurance, and other key stakeholders.
- Business Line Support: Collaborate with stakeholders to support integration efforts, fostering alignment and shared objectives across the organization. Assist in developing insights into supply market dynamics and cost trends to contribute to improvements in category sourcing events and procurement activities. Support GSP organization leaders in executing sourcing events, including combining related project requirements into coordinated procurement activities, while adhering to existing or evolving strategies and standards established by Associate Director, Wind Strategic Procurement and senior leadership.
- 35% Supplier Management:
- Support the management of supplier relationships by assisting with regular assessments of suppliers, including conducting business review meetings under direction of Associate Director, Wind Strategic Procurement. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze supplier competitive advantages and pricing roadmaps for incremental cost optimization. Assist in cross-functional qualification processes and contribute to factory audits as required, ensuring adherence to organizational procurement standards.
- 10% Governance and Compliance:
- Monitoring and Auditing Procurement Activities. Support the monitoring and auditing of procurement activities to ensure compliance with governance policies and processes. Assist in analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement within specific categories. Contribute to the development of insights that enable continuous improvement in sourcing activities and procurement activities.
- Performance Metrics, Reporting and Documentation: Keep detailed records of procurement activities and guide stakeholders involved in the procurement process. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the
