Job Description
The Tutor Counselor/Resident Assistants (TC/RAs) are pivotal to the success of the program. They reside with the students, supervise them in and out of the classroom, facilitate all tutoring activities, and collaborate with other staff members to plan/coordinate special activities & events. They serve as role models, frequently becoming the students’ mentors and/or friends. Additionally, the TC/RAs provide invaluable assistance to the faculty and often serve as the liaison between the students, the faculty, and the administrators.
They are "on call" whenever the students are in residence, (Sundays - Fridays) and may be called upon for special duty at any time.
Due to the demands of the position, TC/RAs may not concurrently be enrolled in summer classes or hold another job.
Employment from Mon, July 8th - Fri, July 26th.
