You Are:
The Spunk Lead Senior Manager will review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements. They will review and integrate the technical architecture requirements and provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security.
The Work:
- Implement best in class engineering strategies to support a distributed clustered Splunk environment consisting of Search Heads, Indexers, Forwarders, Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) app spanning security, performance, engineering, and operational roles
- Work closely with other teams and business stakeholders to design automated solutions for performance, privacy, and compliance
- Be the engineering voice in helping recognize and onboard new data sources into Splunk, analyze the data for anomalies and trends, and building dashboards highlighting the key trends of the data
- Work closely with other teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform troubleshooting, and provide assistance with the creation of Splunk search queries and dashboards
- Develop solutions for profiling, monitoring, reporting and testing on the platform
- Manage application availability, performance, and pro-actively find performance bottlenecks
- Enable integration of Splunk Core and Splunk ES and development of the single pane of glass dashboard
- Configure incident response and remediation workflows for ES
- Develop and Implement Actionable Alerts and Workflow for Splunk as a cybersecurity Monitoring tool
- Develop and Implement Apps & Knowledge Objects (KO) like Dashboard, Reports, and Data Models
- Assist and/or train on Data Lifecycle Support and Content Development.
- Develop and implement automation and efficiencies with Splunk and create workflows
- Provide analyst training and workshops on using Splunk
- Review new content, alerts and data sources with analysts
Here Is What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of industry experience
- Experience in information technology.
- Experience in Splunk environment
- Experience in a Splunk engineering role supporting SOC or NOC environments.
- Experience with one or more of the following: data engineering with Splunk for both ingestion and extraction, maintaining Splunk and its underlying infrastructure, experience with Windows and/or Linux Operating systems, services, daemons, containers and VMs and/or experience troubleshooting and identifying root cause issues

- Advanced Degree(s)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with application teams to modernize applications where appropriate and support cloud integration efforts with Splunk
- Knowledge of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and other computer science basics
- Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect
- Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin
- Splunk Core Certified Consultant

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $141,800 - $269,100
Colorado: $141,800 - $232,600
New York: $131,300 269,100
Washington State: $151,100 - $247,500
