Accounts Payable Team Coordinator

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an AP Team Coordinator at Atotech brand of MKS, you will collaborate closely with Procurement, Internal Teams, Cluster Heads, Vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of payment processes, compliance with internal controls, and continuous improvement of the PTP (Procure-to-Pay) process.

Reporting directly to the AP Manager, you will play a key role in supervising daily AP operations, mentoring your team, and ensuring the efficiency and compliance of AP activities.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Supervising and ensuring that vendor payments are executed within the established payment terms and schedules, escalating exceptions when necessary.

• Monitoring invoice handling in accordance with agreed SLA timelines and initiating corrective actions in case of deviations.

• Validating and overseeing month-end close activities, supporting team members, and resolving any issues that arise.

• Supporting the AP Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager in implementing and executing PTP process improvement initiatives.

• Coaching team members in their daily roles to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

• Organizing internal training sessions to update the team on new processes, ensuring SOX and legal compliance, and increasing overall accounting knowledge.

• Assisting the AP Manager in preparing team meetings, setting objectives, and conducting performance appraisals.

• Maintaining clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve PTP-related issues.

Skills You Bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline; a Master’s degree is a plus.

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a multi-entity environment.

• Strong ability to interact appropriately and effectively with internal customers and external partners.

• A meticulous, detail-oriented, and well-structured approach to work, with strong documentation skills.

• Hands-on experience with SAP FI/MM.

• Fluency in Polish & English

• Experience as Teal leader/Coordinator will be valuable
