Position Overview
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager who will own the 3PG product line like it was their own business and work with the rest of the 3PG team to develop new products and increase sales and profitability of existing products. The Senior Product Manager will manage day to day activities of the 3PG Product Mgmt. team in concert with group objectives. This role possess an understanding of product positioning, attributes, and key benefits with the ability to support sales in presenting them to key customers. The ideal candidate will have a combination of customer focus, creativity, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently drive for results.
The Senior Product Manager reports directly to the Director, Product Management and will work closely with Systems Engineering, 3PG R&D, Field Sales, Supply Chain Management, Creative Services, Vendors, and Customers.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Works with Product Development or third-party suppliers to drive the development of new products from concept through implementation.
- Coordinates the product portion of customer line reviews to key accounts
- Supervises other product managers and provides coaching, training and direction.
- In conjunction with sales and marketing assist in the execution of business plans, promotions, new products, and packaging development to contribute and maximize the development of brand/business strategies.
- Assemble, organize, and maintain all product costs and customer pricing
- Develop pricing proposal models for new and existing accounts
- Assist in customer and vendor contract negotiations
- Supports the marketing department in the creation and editing of 3PG Sales materials, including but not limited to: Product Catalog, Marketing Bulletins, Sell Sheets, etc.
- Works with Supply Chain, Account Mangers & Operations to develop product forecasts.
- Monitor and keep abreast with industry trends and competitors to identify and respond to new opportunities based on market research, trends, customer feedback and requests, pricing, and market demand.
- Manages standard catalog offering: analyze and recommend product discontinuations to customer catalogs and internally produced products.
- Work directly with fulfillment vendors to develop customer promotion opportunities
- Monitor and analyze promotional results and make recommendations for future opportunities and improvements
- In conjunction with marketing and creative services, assist in the development of brochures, gift displays, signage, and training materials
- To establish, maintain, and strengthen alliances with customers, internal teams, and fulfillment partners
- Develop product forecasts for accounts and vendors
- Attend industry trade shows and report on trends and product opportunities
- Provide guidance to customers and sales team on key product attributes, competitive advantage, and pricing
Required Skills/Education
- 7-10 Years related Product Management Experience. Consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
