Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, Ingalls Memorial Hospital, as a Radiation Therapy Technician in the Radiation Oncology department in Harvey. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
Join the hospital trusted by Chicago’s Southland, Ingalls Memorial Hospital, in this role as a Radiation Therapy Technician in Harvey, IL.
Under the supervision of the Lead Therapist of Radiation Therapy and the medical direction of the Radiation Oncologist, administers ionizing radiation to patient for therapeutic purposes; assists Radiologist with radioactive isotope treatment, general and surgical procedures; schedules patients and maintains necessary records; assists in teaching radiation therapy students. These services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients of all ages. Maintains ACR standards at all time in the Radiation Therapy department
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Retains an active Radiation Therapy accreditation with the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.
- Registry eligible applicants must provide proof of application for temporary license.
- Must successfully complete and maintain CPR certification.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
