Job Description

Hawkeye is looking for our next Director of Analytics to lead a cross functional team of data scientists and analysts in growing the business. You are an experienced professional, statistician, developer, and marketing strategist. Your experience matters, your voice matters. You need to be present, aware, and vocal through all phases of the marketing process.

In this “hands on” role you will be guiding the client and agency strategists from the insights process through result analysis.  Your team designs experiments, uses statistical methods to size audiences and control groups, documents data selection instructions for marketing execution teams, collects, cleanses, and analyzes data. Even more importantly, the Director of Analytics is a skilled communicator and collaborator, working with peers across client and agency teams to create consensus and establish best practices. 

Qualifications

• Communications: Clear English speaker, reading and writing
• Snowflake / SQL Server / Advanced SQL
• Statistical Programming (SAS, Python, R, SPSS)
• Advanced Excel – Pivot tables, Power Query, complex dynamic charts
• Visualization tools – (Power BI, Tableau)
• PowerPoint / Google slides
• Marketing automation platform experience - Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Experience:

• 10+ years of advanced analytics expertise
• 5+ years managing clients, and direct reports, developing and leading successful analytics teams
• QSR Restaurant / retail analytics experience
• 5+ years CRM / Digital Media experience
• Agency experience or other client facing experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing/Analytics, or Data Science preferred
• Graduate level certificate or Master’s degree preferred
• Technical training certificates in Python, SQL, Data Science a plus

Compensation Range: $137,000 - $181,000.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
