As a Senior Accountant at Belle Tire, you'll play a key role in driving financial clarity and operational excellence across a fast-growing organization. What You'll Do
- Complete high-volume cash reconciliations with strong attention to detail
- Perform and resolve balance sheet reconciliations, including payroll-related accounts and prepaid insurance
- Support payroll accounting processes and ensure accuracy of related entries and reconciliations
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities
- Analyze Profit & Loss statements related to assigned responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Provide support to the Cash Specialist function and Finance Help Desk
- Assist with annual financial statement audit activities
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive automation
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as business needs evolve
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 4--6 years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in SAP
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment while remaining adaptable and focused on what truly matters.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and accountability, as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification
- Experience in a retail-based company
Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment, requiring periods of sitting and the operation of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other office tools. Work hours are typically 8-5, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
