Our Beecher’s Handmade Cheese Retail team is seeking a dynamic Director of Airport Operations to lead and uphold a culture of operational excellence across our Beecher’s airport retail locations. This role is pivotal in driving consistent execution, improving customer satisfaction, ensuring quality, fostering team development, and boosting profitability.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate performance and enforce brand standards.
• Identify underperforming areas, develop improvement plans, and communicate milestones and timelines.
• Collaborate with store leadership to set and achieve quarterly performance goals.
• Analyze financial performance and coach managers to deliver against budget targets.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, including online reviews.
• Provide continuous performance feedback and support professional development for store managers.
• Monitor and enforce all food safety standards and programs.
• Efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks, consistently meeting deadlines.
• Step in to support store leadership during transitional periods, as needed.
• Lead or support special projects in collaboration with Restaurant and Retail leadership.
Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an airport food and beverage setting
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a proven ability to develop and retain high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of P&Ls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is between $105,000 - $125,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
