About the role

Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Finance & Investor Relations will support the company’s financial planning, investor relations, and corporate development activities. The role includes building financial models, supporting budgeting and monthly reporting processes, preparing investor and Board materials, assisting with quarterly earnings and disclosures, and conducting various ad-hoc analyses. This individual will work closely with the VP, Strategic Finance & IR, the Director, FP&A, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Conduct various FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning
    • Build and maintain detailed financial models for corporate and clinical forecasting as well as long-range planning
    • Partner with the Director, FP&A to ensure alignment between budgets, forecasts, and the company’s business plan
    • Develop valuation and scenario models to guide strategic decision-making and resource prioritization
  • Investor Relations & Corporate Development
    • Prepare quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, investor presentations, and Q&A documents
    • Maintain the investor relations calendar and various tracking documents
    • Support investor targeting, roadshow preparation, and participation in conferences and investor meetings
    • Provide financial and analytical support for business development, capital raising, and partnership opportunities
    • Monitor peer company performance, capital markets activity, and biotech sector trends, and summarize analyst research estimates

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, investor relations, or related roles; biotech or life sciences experience preferred
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience with investor relations processes (earnings prep, press release drafting, presentation building, reviewing analyst estimates)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive- and investor-facing materials
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills
