Maintenance Technician (Premix)

Tonganoxie, KS

Monday – Friday (8am -5pm)

 

As a Maintenance Technician at our Brand New (Premix) Animal Nutrition and Health location in Tonganoxie, KS, you will be responsible for performing specific predictive and preventive maintenance tasks on facility operations and ensuring efficient inventory management and logistics coordination. You will also perform maintenance tasks in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices(cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safety and Health/Environment (SHE) policies, and divisional goals to support the efficient operation of plant equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Capable of ordering parts necessary for maintenance activities, and working under certified trade professionals as an apprentice, if applicable.
  • Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance tasks to optimize equipment functionality and reliability.
  • Perform minor repairs, basic assembly, and installations on plant equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and modifying plant equipment and related systems as needed.
  • Order the necessary parts and materials to facilitate maintenance tasks and maintain equipment readiness.
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring that the maintenance program is executed effectively and consistently.
  • Coordinate and schedule contractors for external maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in planning and organizing assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring appropriate resources and tools are available.

Must be able to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as production demand requires including call-ins 

 

You bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • In depth knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in basic maintenance tasks such as equipment repair, assembly, and preventive inspections.
