POSITION - JUNIOR SCHEDULER 

LOCATION - COLUMBUS, OH 

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our our Places infrastructure team.

Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Scheduler for a global technology client to join our team in Columbus, Ohio.

This is an at site position (possible hybrid with the right candidate), working directly with one of our technology market sector client construction projects. 

Role accountabilities:

In this role you will actively visit construction project sites and confirm progress is consistent with the project schedule and other project documentation. As a Project Scheduler, you will assist with the analysis and review of project schedules and other documentation, utilizing Primavera P6 software, and assist with generating reports and presentations for client meetings. You will also develop and maintain project schedules using Scheduling Software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and other tools as needed. You will assist  with schedule assurance reviews of the project schedules to ensure they are following the client scheduling procedures and guidelines. A primary responsibility is you will review Project Plans and specifications to ensure all activities are identified and properly sequenced. As such you will identify critical path activities and potential delays and recommend solutions to keep projects on track. To grow professionally in your role, you will assist with the quality and structural integrity of the project schedules using various analytical tools. You will become familiar with analyzing project data to create progress reports, including milestone tracking and forecasting. Some Key Attributes are a strong focus on Health and Safety, the ability to read and understand design information and to engage with the client and key stakeholders at all levels.
 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency with Scheduling software like:  Primavera P6, MSP, etc. 
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years relevant project scheduling experience.  It would be great if you had exposure working within the data center construction sector. 
  • Self starter, flexible and eager to learn 
  • Good communication skills and professional demeanour
  • Commitment to Health and Safety on the job

The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $78,000 per year.
