Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic, creative and resourceful Senior Manager of Supply/Inventory Planning to join its Lifestyle team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.
The Sr. Manager of Supply/Inventory Planning will be responsible for the management of internal inventory levels, WOS targets, and service level agreements. This individual will play an integral role in achieving the financial and inventory turn objectives of the business, as well as being a key partner to the supply chain organization, in driving best in class processes around inventory management, VMI/fabric platforming, and capacity planning. This position will be the bridge between Demand planning/ Sales / Production and the operations department. The net result should be increased wholesale and retail sales, greater profitability and improved inventory turn both internally and for our retail customers. In addition, the Planner will ensure timely and accurate communication of risks to service levels and the accompanying recovery dates
Responsibilities:
- Establish WOS targets, conduct product segmentation, analyze demand to ensure that product flows as needed,
- Analyze inventory levels, service level agreements, identifying risks and opps collaborating with suppliers and production teams to adjust flows as needed, reporting out recovery dates.
- Work with DC/OMG on hot lists/expediting PO's.
- Review the demand forecast, existing supply, and open WIP at the size level, and balances buys as needed.
- Key Partner with Sales, Finance, Production, Operations, and external accounts.
- Develop and distribute weekly reporting on service levels and recovery.
- Develop and distribute reporting around excess and obsolete inventory and work with the teams on disposition plans.
- Become a liaison on systems initiatives as they pertain to Inventory management.
- work w/ production on Vendor VMI/fabric positioning.
- Communicate projected buys to sourcing/vendors for capacity planning.
- Identify excess/slow moving finished goods inventory and participate in root cause analysis/disposition plans - clean ups, tail, aged ATS.
- Be an integral part of building a best in class process and tool to support the Inventory management process.
- Review and adjust size profiles at the account and category level, and adjust as needed, with input from the demand planning team.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience with 5+ years of demonstrated related experience in Supply Planning or Inventory management
- Wholesale/Retail replenishment experience in a seasonally driven product category
- Experience with vendor VMI programs
- Experience with multi-channel businesses
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to think both strategically and execute tactically
- Ability to partner and collaborate at all levels with multiple areas of the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to convey point of view
- Must be proficient at creating any new reporting tools to stay ahead of our competition and accounts’ analytical expectations
- Entrepreneurial mindset and resourceful – Capable of problem solving
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively with leadership and influence decision making
- SAP APO or IBP experience, a plus
