They work in agile cross-functional teams to create, test and improve the technology that underpins the company. They are responsible for implementing and delivering high-quality web applications that align with product roadmaps and modern standards for performance, accessibility, and user experience.</p><p>Their work is centered around the React ecosystem, using technologies such as TypeScript, Next.js, Vite, MUI, React Query for data fetching, Jotai for state management, and Storybook for UI development and documentation. Accessibility best practices are an integral part of their development process.</p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities and Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Work across the software development life cycle</li><li>Deliver technical solutions with respect to expectations on functionality</li><li>Analyze requirements</li><li>Develop secure software </li><li>Continually improve code quality under coding standards, best practices and through automation and code reviews</li><li>Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of all appropriate existing technologies as well as new techniques and tech</li><li>Provide support after the new technology is launched</li><li>Write unit tests</li><li>Diagnose performance bottlenecks </li><li>Integrate 3rd party APIs</li><li>Understanding of functional or departmental goals</li><li>Identify the need for improvements and take actions</li><li>Be able to mentor team members and share knowledge with the team</li><li>Give and receive constructive feedback in a positive/professional manner</li><li>Organise and prioritize work effectively, able to adjust in a changing environment</li><li>Demonstrate understanding of the importance and how to balance all of; Security, privacy, quality, testability, reusability, maintainability, usability, accessibility, performance, customer requirements, NFRs, and delivery</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications, Experience and Competences</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>University level degree (at postgraduate level is a plus) in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field of study</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent presentation skills</li><li>Excellent command  of  English language </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Minimum Experience</strong></p><ul><li>5–7 years of experience in modern frontend software development</li><li>Proven production experience with React and Next.js</li><li>Strong expertise in TypeScript and ES6+ JavaScript</li><li>Deep understanding of component-driven architecture and design systems</li><li>Advanced, industry-grade expertise in TypeScript and modern JavaScript</li><li>Experience with MUI for UI implementation and theme customization</li><li>Proficient in React Query for data fetching and caching</li><li>Experience using Jotai or similar modern state management libraries</li><li>Familiarity with Vite for tooling and optimized builds</li><li>Strong understanding of immutability principles and functional programming concepts</li><li>Comfortable working with Storybook for component documentation and visual testing</li><li>Strong focus on accessibility (WCA
