Assist and train Associate Equipment Manager in day to day operations and game day operations for football. Ensure football equipment is maintained for performance and particularly for safety.
This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The minimum starting rate for the position is $19.92 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage uniform and equipment fitting for practice and games for football.
- Check football protective equipment to ensure it is safe for distribution to players.
- Train and support Associate Equipment Manager in all football operations.
- Attend opening football game with Associate Equipment Manager to train in game day operations.
Requirements
- Ability to identify safety issues in football protective equipment.
- Must possess excellent communication skills to train Associate Equipment Manager in order for them to become independently able to manage the equipment needs of the team.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Involves physical movements such as bending, twisting, reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Working conditions include loud machines, sharp instruments, dust and chemicals.
- Willingness and ability to travel with football team for opening game.
